East Austin

East AustinMoving to east Austin was something that we knew was the right thing to do. When we first moved to Austin, we didn’t even think about this area at all. But one stop at Mr. Natural and seeing a plethora of things to see and do was enough to make us take the plunge. Only a 20 minute walk to downtown, this place is quick bike ride to the Red River district and that was just the icing on the cake.

At this point, we just want to chronicle the change that is and has been occuring in East Austin and document all that made us fall in love with this area.

Well Austin has many good things to offer but it still has a small town feel. I am from New York so i sometimes miss the hustle and bustle of the large city. New York never sleeps but Austin does.

We just moved here from New York too. It’s been about fourth month but we are getting into it. We just got back from a week of hanging out with some friends in New York and I can say that we don’t miss those trains.

Well i can agree that winter in New York is colder. But then the summer in Austin is so hot that you would want to go to New York for a break.
