Need Some Creative Space?

8 07 2008

Some of us can’t seem to get anything done at home. Either the television set comes calling with an elimination episode of So You Think You Can Dance, or your significant other keeps asking you weird questions, like “why did you let the cat’s sleep on my black work pants?”  Regardless of what keeps you from your passion, there is always another option, other then throwing the television out of the window. East Austin is lucky enough to house several art studios, but one that has caught our eye has been the Pump Project Art Complex.

You can rent a space in the art studio for a pretty low fee. There are shared spaces available as well as private spaces. You can find more information about renting a space here.

They will also be hosting Figure Drawing At Pump Project tomorrow beginning at 6:30pm. Apparently this will be a recurring event, so be sure to keep an eye out for a schedule, which will be out soon. Below is some information about the event, taken from their web site.
