Food at The Good Knight

We told you guys earlier that we really love The Good Knight. The bartenders are always rocking and the vibe is great. They planned from the start to serve food along with their tasty beverages and they have started to dish out the plates. We had a couple of bites from their dessert menu and they were top notch. We haven’t had a chance to try the meat pies yet but some of the people we were with loved them.

UPDATE: We just got a hold of the menu from The Good Knight so have at it.

salad mixed greens, pickled shitake mushrooms, butter fried croutons and glazed cashews drizzled with house dressing

white gazpacho chilled soup with ground almonds, garlic, country bread, sherry vinegar and white grapes

basque soup roasted butternut squash, white beans, leeks and sage in vegetable broth with parsley pesto

cheese daily selection of two cheeses served with honeycomb, marcona almonds and grilled country bread

smoked rainbow trout spread served with grilled country bread and lemon coriander jelly

fried tomatoes red and green tomatoes served with aioli and salad greens

flammekueche rustic flatbread baked with caramelized onions, crème fraiche and applewood-smoked bacon

chicken pot pie pecan-smoked free-range chicken with Yukon gold potatoes, shitakes and carrots in puff pastry

cheese and nut roast crimini mushroom, walnut, cashew and gruyere terrine served with smoked tomato sauce and vegetable of the day

angus meatloaf bacon wrapped with whiskey gravy and mashed new potatoes

I LOVE the Good Knight! The food is scrumptious. Tried the pot de crème chocolate & earl grey custard served with chantilly and the smoked rainbow trout spread served with grilled country bread and lemon coriander jelly last time we stopped in. Loved every little bite.
I’ve been declaring the Good Knight my neighborhood/favorite bar to everyone who will listen lately. Glad I’m not the only one who adores it.
