13 11 2008

Hells bells people. It’s time for a good ole’ fashioned east side party. The Black and White Years, one of our favorite Austin bands will be playing alongside Built by Snow, another one of our favorite Austinites. The catch is that DJ Manny, DJ BigFace and DJ Claude 9 will remix their album and DJ Manny will spin it it live at the start of the festivities. Once that is over, The Black and White Years will play the original studio album live. Check it out below. Cover is $8 and it’s at The Compound at 1300 E. 4th Street here in East Austin. We would also like to mention that for us bike riders, we will be entitled for a free drink on the house just for riding our favorite two-wheeled friends!

I wish I had known about this before the weekend was over. It sounds really cool and I would’ve definitely blogged about it. I’m so behind on the times.
