Lucy The Poodle Productions presents a Rock Me Amadeus Masquerade Ball featuring the Noise Revival Orchestra, Friday December 5th at the Beauty Bar.

“Find a mask and wear it well so your true identity no one can tell”

Take a step into a magnificent land of elegance and mystique as Lucy the Poodle Productions presents the Rock Me Amadeus Masquerade Ball. From the same people who brought you the wildly popular “Southern Drama Circus Party” and the “1960’s-Mod Summer Dance Party” earlier this year comes another night of fabulous fun and entertainment! This time Lucy the Poodle promises costumed performers, burlesque dancing, performance art, French chocolate tasting, party favors, prizes, an ipod giveaway and more as they celebrate the latest EP release of chamber experimentalists The Noise Revival Orchestra.
A mere five dollars at the door will get you all of this and more!

The ball will take place at The Beauty Bar on Friday December, 5th from 9pm – 2am and those who arrive early will be in for some very special treats. The ball will also feature performances from deliciously talented burlesque troupe, The Jigglewatts, as well as the self-proclaimed “goddesses of go-go dancing, magnificent models, bodacious body painters & super-powered stage performers” also known as The Jezebelles. Other musical guests include Paul Banks and the Carousels and rumor has it that virtuosic violinist and composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart will be making a special appearance.
To top things off, the party will be emceed by none other than the star of Austin’s renowned Bric-A-Brac Vintage Vaudeville Variety Show, the multi-talented French actor, Baptiste the Clown!

The style of dress is Rococo-Punk Chic. Guests are encouraged to wear Marie-Antoinette period inspired costumes with an optional cabaret-punk-1980’s twist. (Watch the music video “Rock me Amadeus” by Falco for inspiration!) To see to it that all will be fit to enter the ball (and for those who don’t have their own mask) Lucy the Poodle will provide a complimentary mask making station as well as a wig powdering and rouge stand! Guests will also be invited to have their photograph taken at Marie Antoinette’s Boudoir while savoring delicious royal treats provided by our sponsors Dunkin’ Donuts! Other sponsors include Frou Frou Salon and Spa, ME Gene Johnson Realtors, The Shady Grove, Parkside Restaurant, Helen Kinneman an ME Gene Johnson Realtor and Broker, Gracy Title, and The DWI Dude.
They will be giving away prizes such as dinner gift certificates, spa treatments, an ipod and more!

See attached poster for visual stimulation and contact for more information.
